What was the myth and what was the reality of the “new woman” of the 1920s?

im pretty sure it has something to do with the end of ww1

considered the turning point in pacific war. the japanese tried to lure the american navy out so it could be destroyed but failed. the americans were led by admiral chester nimitz. the victory by america would put them on the offensive for the remainder of the war.
