How did the constitution of the united states reflect the ideas of the enlightenment thinkers?

The constitution was centered around democracy which enlightenment thinker, John Locke first established. he stated that if a government were to break a person's natural rights- life, liberty, and property- then that individual has the right to overthrow the government and create a new one. this is what triggered the constitution of the United States.
