The Nation of Islam (NOI) is an African American movement, founded by Wallace D. Fard Muhammad in 1930.

Among their most well-known beliefs is black separatism (the idea that black people should live separately from white people) and black supremacy (the idea that black people are superior to white people). The movement is also founded upon Muslim beliefs, and it maintains a strong code of discipline among its members.
