Zen is a type of Buddhism that practices meditation. It was one of the first forms of Buddhism and Buddhists are often known for not being harmful. They believe in peace and basically aren't aloud to even hurt a plant although if you watched that one scene in the movie "Anger Management" a comedy featuring Adam Sandler you could be quite "called to condradict" in the great words of Calpurnia (To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, a classic and must read!).
