How did the muslim culture expand so rapidly?

Muslim culture expanded rapidly through trade and the conquering of other countries. As merchants met, they exchanged information about each others' cultures. Eventually, people began to adopt and take elements from different religions. Additionally, as Muslim rulers conquered other countries, their religion spread.
