Something like this ever happen to you?? When I was in elementary school I was having a little event where my whole class was going to sing. My step mom was talking about how her daughter Simylah was going to be having the same event. The problem was me and Simylah went to different schools. I thought my dad would come to my event and my step mom would go to Simylah. My dad told me he had to work. My aunt sent her kids to the same school Simylah went to. While I was singing on stage my mom got a text from my aunt. She showed me the text after me and my class were done singing. It was a picture of my dad at Simylah’s event. At that moment I was so sad I wanted to cry. I held it in because I didn’t want everyone to see me cry. When my mom took me home, I ran to my room and cried. I cried so much that my face and eyes were red. That may have happened a long time ago but I will never forget that day. He had me thinking he didn’t love me, he loved my step mom and her kids more than he loved me, that I didn’t matter to him, And that I was too worthless for him to be at my event. That was the last day he ever saw the real me. I am a totally different person now. I used to be an introvert, I used to love pink, I used to love dresses and skirts, and I used to love headbands and crowns. Now I am an introvert and hate all of those things. I wear pants and shorts that go to my knees now, I love black, and I hate crowns and headbands.
