Reposted so someone can read it DIRECTIONS: Use ALL the Terms to Know from Lesson 3: Calls to Reform to create a two-paragraph short story. 1.) You will choose a character at the top and 2.) write the story from that
character’s first-person point of view. Your short story may not be more than two paragraphs
and it may not be less than two paragraphs. Be as creative and funny as you want. Your story
should use the words in context and not just be a story that states the definitions of the word.
You should include all the words, along with names like Governor Jim Hogg, John H. Reagan,
the Texas Railroad Commission, and the Interstate Commerce Commission. Feel free to use all
the imagination, figurative language, and writer’s voice as you want to help bring your character
to life and use all the words.
