Compare and contrast the accomplishments of the first three kings of the Israelites.​

King Solomon was the third king of Israel and King David's son. During Solomon's regin there was peace in Israel and he was a very smart king. Solomon had many wives and that's why he had such good relations with other countries. His wives started to make him believe in other g-ds which made g-d tell him that when his son is king he will destroy the kingdom.

King David was the second king of Israel. He was from Judea and fought Saul out of his spot as king. He made Jersulem the capital of Israel a choice that has lead us to having Jersulem as our captial in Israel today. David had an affair with a lady named Bathsheba and she was his most famous wife. Their first child died while their second child, Solomon, lived and became the king of israel.

David got into the position as king by fighting a war and fought wars throughout his time as king. He fought many wars during his time as king including multiple wars against the Philistines and a war to capture Jerusalem and other cities.

Rehobam is the son of Solomon. The people rebelled aganist him. The people rebelled because Rehobam said that he would make the people pay much higher taxes and work harder then when his father was king. The reason was that one group told him to lower the taxes and one group told him to raise them and he listened to the one saying to raise the test.
