John Quincy Adams was one of the most moral men ever to hold the office of presidency. Jackson proved himself to be very cruel in my opinion (he won the 1828 election). You should read about his treatment of the Native Americans.

I know that's not what you want. What you want is the answer. It is 4. Adams got neither the popular nor the the electoral vote and yet he became president. I don't see how, unless congress decided who was going to be president: I think that's how it happened. They chose Adams.
