Even though many nations around the world had abolished slavery in their own countries, the large European powers continued to claim land in Africa and Asia as
their own (colonies) so they could:
A. End colonization by other countries.
B. Take resources that they could sell or trade.
C. Expand the abolition of slavery.
D. Create better lives for people in their colonies. Please helpp
