perspective of groups opposed to the original constitution, the role the Bill of Rights played in its
ratification, and limits that specific liberties in the Bill of Rights puts on government power.

4.)Explain how our Constitution sought to both strengthen the power of the national government (as
compared to the Articles of Confederation), while simultaneously limiting its power to prevent abuse
and tyranny. In your response you may consider specific failures of the Articles of Confederation that
were addressed/fixed by the Constitution, as well as systems or characteristics built into the
Constitution designed to limit government power.
