Who were the people that founded the city-state of Sparta?

Lacedaemon. In Greek mythology the founder of the city was Lacedaemon, a son of Zeus, who gave his name to the region and his wife's name to the city. Sparta was also an important member of the Greek force which participated in the Trojan War.

Lacedaemon founded Sparta. He was one of Zeus's sons, and named Sparta after his wife.

1887 - the dawes act was passed.

1893 - the panic of 1893 took place. (what a creative name)

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
