This question is designed as a way for the student to think about the checks on the Supreme Court. Because the Supreme Court must make decisions based on the Constitution, AND, the Constitution determines how the Supreme Court justices get their jobs and for how long, AND, which cases it can hear and how the cases get to the Supreme Court through the appeals process. It should also be noted that the Supreme Court is limited in when and how it's decisions are made. These are 'checks' on the Supreme Court. How do each of these work and how are they used as 'checks'? Reread your definitions and notes and then explain what can happen in each of the items above to 'check' the Court's actions. (For example, what can happen to the Constitution?) Also, include why keeping their job 'during good behavior' can act as a 'balance' to the Court in relation to the other branches. pls help
