1.House and Senate conference committee members work out the differences between the two versions.
2.The House or Senate committee may approve, rewrite, or kill the bill.
3.A member of the House or Senate introduces a bill and refers it to a committee.
4.The president signs or vetoes the bill.
5.The House or the Senate debates and votes on its version of the bill.
6.Two-thirds majority vote of Congress is needed to approve a vetoed bill. Bill becomes a law
7.Both Houses of Congress pass the revised bill.
