After World War I and the Great Depression, Americans were generally resistant to getting involved in foreign conflicts. Ok so here's the thing. This is a sort of Opinionated question where you are going to have to answer this question because imagine you are the president of the U.S, and WW2 was going on and you had no damage done to your land or anything. Like as in, this is before pearl harbor. Would you join in with Britain? or stay out of it?

americans had many intangible advantages. well since the british fought a war far from home military orders, troops, and supplies sometimes took months to reach their destinations, and the british had an extremely difficult objective. they had to persuade the americans to give up their claims of independence, americans had a grand cause: fighting for their rights, their independence and their liberty. this cause is much more just than waging a war to deny independence.
