Religion and culture are connected. Religion is larger than culture. The word culture means "a set of practices, beliefs and customs that is a certain population." Cultures are most of the time passed down from generation to generation and can also make religious practices, language, mythology, tradition, arts and political institutions or practices in the time of the generations are being passed down. While religious practice feature of a person's culture, a larger opinion of the culture as a whole.

While religious practice may represent one aspect of a peoples culture, a larger assessment of the culture as a whole will include many other considerations. One of many definitions of America's culture would require an analysis not only of the religions practiced in our country America, but also the music, television programs, movies, games, traditions, political beliefs, economic philosophy, law and languages made by the American people. 　 A person who pleasures in the religion of their choice can add that decisions and crossroads that they are a reflection of their religion.
