The Governor may sign the bill or do nothing, and bill becomes law. If the Governor veto's the bill, two-thirds of the members are needed to override a veto. Any member of the legislature may introduce a bill.

After a bill is introduced to the General Assembly, it is sent to a committee.

Before a bill can become a law, both houses must approve the same identical bill.
