Who approved of the adoption of black codes

The first states to enforce the black codes were Mississippi and South Carolina.

Mississippi’s law required Black people to have written evidence of employment for the coming year each January, and if they left before the end of the contract, they would be forced to forfeit earlier wages and were subject to arrest.

South Carolina's law prohibited Black people from holding any occupation other than farmer or servant unless they paid an annual tax of $10 to $100.

In both states, Black people were given heavy penalties for vagrancy, including forced plantation labor in some cases.

i don't see how you want other people to do your work for you and it is like you are just handing your assignment to anybody else and having them deal with it instead of your self i thought this site was for asking questions and somebody could you on it not just handing your work to somebody else to deal with it just saying don't mean to be mean just proving a fact.
