How did the Constitution of 1868 affect racial discrimination? A.) The Constitution granted equality socially and in education. These new rights were enforced by the State Legislature.
B.) The Constitution did little in regards to ending racial discrimination in Louisiana. Any Provisions granted to newly freed slaves were rarely enforced.
C.) The Constitution made it a crime to racially discriminate. it provided legal consequences for breaking the law and essentially curtailed racial crimes in Louisiana.
D.) The Constitution made it easier for African Americans to integrate into society. Guidelines were provided for the treatment of freed slaves to help them become full citizens
