In May of 1804, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set off on a fantastic adventure that forever changed America! Research the Lewis and Clark Expedition and read excerpts from their actual
journals. Read the May 26, 1805 entry from William Clark's journal below. Then write an entry
for several months later after the expedition has crossed the Continental Divide in the Rocky
Mountains. Describe the conditions you endured, how you survived crossing the mountains,
and how you feel about this accomplishment. Note William Clark's writing style and try to write
in the same style as he did.
