1. Get a copy of a Farmer's Almanac or go to Poor Richard's Almanac and read through it to see the interesting information contained in it. What do you find? Write a paragraph about what is most interesting to you in the almanac you read. 2. Compose your own entries for an almanac. You may create something that would fit nicely into a colonial almanac, or that contains information that would be important to people in your community today. Can you come up with some catchy little sayings for today?
