An annotated bibliography contains all the sources that provided information for your research project. It differs from a regular bibliography in that each entry includes a brief explanation about how the source was used, how it helped you understand your topic, and whether it is a primary or secondary resource. In this assignment, you will supply three of your sources with annotation. Submit this assignment for a grade by the end of Lesson 5.

Annotated Bibliography -

Alright, love, so essentially, we put our bibliography or works cited in the way you're supposed to format it (for example, my school usually requires MLA) and then add a quick paragraph that says something like 'I used this source to' 'It helped clarify ' 'It contained information on' Just 3 to five sentences to show that you read and understood the information from the source, especially if you cited it within your piece.

Primary/Secondary Sources -

A primary source is a document, image, or other source that comes from the time period of the information your researching. For example, a newspaper article about world war ii that was published in 1942. These are considered more credible by some people because the details are current and relevant to their situations.

A secondary source is an article, document, or other source that gives you information about a topic that was released after the event. For example, a history.com article on world war ii that was published in 2017. The information for these sources typically come from retellings or such that may have changed just a bit as time went on.
