The main idea is that samurai is a martial art we use now and there are many ways

One reason for this is that seppuku is a ceremonial su1cide that if shamed by their family or lord men st   AD themself with a sword on their chest but if women they slit their throat.

Another reason samurai took a very honorable approach to battle. The first two people would meet and choose a specif time and place. then they would stand two hundred yards apart.  

Then they would each take turns yelling their names. They charged at each other and whoever wins takes the enemy's head.
