There is always a debate on whether prejudice is because of nature or nurture/environment. But support for arguing we are born with prejudice is far from inconclusive while many tests and studies have been done to show the strong correlation between environment such as early childhood experience and prejudice. For example exposure of children to a diverse environment will expose them early and allow them to develop acceptance and tolerance of differences in other people; reducing any prejudice that may develop later in life.
