What are advantages and disadvantages of the albany plan of union

A advantage of Albany Plan was that union would enforce colonies into one, transforming in a powerful unified arm for defence in wars and other important issues.

A disadvantage of Albany Plan was the individual interests, overall, around the tax collecting. They were already debating who will take this functions, which meant that union were not possible.
