What factors may have pushed african americans to migrate or rural areas to urban areas

There are many reasons why African Americans might move to urban areas as opposed to rural areas. 

1) to get away from rich plantation owners( which were mostly in the South) 
2) get away from people who used to hold them slaves
3) move to urban areas to find more jobs(urban areas=more jobs)
