the cherokee rose has a crazy story. back in the day, the colonist forced the tribes out of their home. the people wouldn’t stop for anything. if someone was injured, they were left, and they died. the mothers couldn’t their children and cried. they cried all the time. the tribe’s elders then hoped for a symbol to the mothers. the next day the cherokee rose appeared. the white represented the mother’s tears, the gold center for the gold stole from the cherokees, and seven leaves on each stem for the 7 cherokee clans.
