The ages of rock thru the Atlantic Ocean were similar. Alfred Wegener was the expert who suggested the Continental Drift Theory in the early twentieth period. Just put, his hypothesis offered that the continents had once been linked, and over time had glided apart.

this caused the country to gain wealth and money and become an international superpower. it improved transportation and manufacturing inside the country, pushed people to live in urban areas and britain to become the most powerful nation in the world for a while.

roosevelt essentially took the opposite approach as hoover in taking on the great depression. herbert hoover thought that america and its economy could naturally recover from the depression in due course, so he adamantly restrained the federal government from intervening on behalf of the people affected. on the other hand, roosevelt dramatically increased employment by expanding the federal government and establishing agencies that would aid in relieving some of the country's worst problems.
