The industrial revolution was where most of the technology advancements happens which provided businesses with money and more open jobs some of those benefits where: Interchangeable parts, and also the cotton gin!

Interchangeable parts was where in war if a soldier breaks his weapons he could quickly grab the missing part that was lost or broken and switch the part so the weapon would work again!

The cotton gin was where it used a lot of cotton and made it into strands so they were able to make clothing and other items that would make a lot of money for their business!

If I had to pick one long term benefit I would choose the cotton gin!
