Slaves in the US resisted slavery in several ways. The methods came into being with the arrival of first slaves in North America in 1619. The practice of slavery created an economic system which lasted till 1865, and then it was abolished by the thirteen amendments. But before the abolition of slavery, there were very few methods available to the slaves for resisting slavery.
