How did the catholic church respond to the scientific revolution? the church didn’t accept the theories put forth by scientists and held on to their beliefs. the church accepted and promoted the theories and findings put forth by the scientists. the church funded the scientists so that they could prove more scientific theories. the church didn’t fund the scientists but quickly accepted their theories and findings. asap (highschool)
