Moreover, the development regarding innovations like in transport along with traveling and communication techniques also appeared. Some of the key events taking place within this time period are Indian and the Spanish-American war, the Texas Revolution, Louisiana Purchase, the purchase of Alaska, the Mexican Cession, etc. The right to vote was applied to all citizens that were male.
