What was malthus’s theory of population? what did hen believe was going to happen? do you think there is chance this could someday happen? why or why not?

Malthus's theory of population was that rapid population of humans would exceed growth food supply. He believed that Human population would be bigger than the carrying capacity, and there would be a lack of resources and general misery. I think there is/isn't a chance this could someday happen because (Your opinion here).
