What are two types of evidence that suggest that evolution has occurred?

1. Fossil Evidence- They provide evidence that evolution has taken place. A good example is in Evolution  of man theory by Charles Darwin that discusses how man has evolved to modern man where later fossils of Modern Man (homo sapiens)  reflect that changes have occurred over time.
2. Molecular evidence- In this case Molecular biologists compare the genes and proteins of different animals to help determine the evolutionary relationships. Some of the best evidence of evolution originates from the examination of molecules and D.N.A found in all living things.
