Why were moosons important to africa traders?

It was important to them because with monsoons brought a lot of rain which helps the Africans grow food so they could trade them off to other countries and land to get money, clothing, other foods, books, houses, etc. Now that Africa is completely dried out it makes things harder for the people to trade their things for other basic things they need.
