Community service will help the criminals to know more the values and ethos prevailing among the society.  

Explanation:

The advantage of community service as a correctional measure will help them know new things which they normally don’t do. It is the society which have shown them wrong direction and made them as a criminal. As a correctional measure if the criminals are given a place to work they will come to know more about societal morals and values.

There is a possibility that it will lead them to new horizon. The community servicing will take them work closer with people and make them understand the emotional part of a family unit. The court will take the cognisance of the criminals and punishments will be according to their crime.
