Geographic expeditions, inc. v. lhotka. was this case decided right or wrong? what type of contract is this? what message is the court sending? i don't want to get too deep into contract law yet (we will! ) but these principles are good to learn early, so what was the legal principle the court used to come to its decision? how would you have decided this case and why? think about the application of this case to many situations. how many of you have ever signed a permission slip or waiver to attend an event or do an activity? did you think you were bound by that agreement? have you ever tried to negotiate the language of your car rental agreement or waiver for rock climbing or anything? should companies be able to protect themselves with these waivers or are they inherently biased and unfair?
