Why do you believe people break laws? In your opinion what do you believe is the main reason people end up in jail? Do you believe that jail is the best consequence? Why or why not?

People break laws because they lack structure or are deranged.. The main reason people end up in jail could be they were having a bad day. Maybe they didn't have food on the table or needed to pay a debt off. I think jail to some is the only way to pay your crime. However, for other offenses their should be rehabilitation programs that serve a greater purpose for an inmate.
