Many people speak quite heatedly about the condition of our country—its laws, its leaders, and its economy. A high portion of these vocal dissenters do not vote themselves. If they do not vote, should they be allowed to complain about how the government functions? Why or why not? What responsibilities do these people have to the government? What freedoms do they enjoy?

The United States is a free country so we are all free to speak our mind even if we don't vote,but for people who don't vote to complain about the government and its functions is absolutely absurd. How does one expect for the government to change if they do not vote people into office that can make those changes. If you don't vote you aren't contributing to the country so  therefore you cant complain when the changes you want made do not happen. They have a responsibility to vote and pay taxes, we cant do one that sucks and the other that makes the country great again we neglect. We enjoy all the freedoms America has such as freedom of speech, freedom to protest and believe in what we want.
