It was just fantastic, everything I had ever imagined. The music was loud, throbbing and just brilliant, the lights flashing throwing the crowds of people into darkness then bright flashes of white light as the music reached its peak building and building to the drop. I saw him from afar, I thought I recognised him from somewhere, but I’m not sure maybe I saw him earlier in the shop where I was using my fake ID. So I danced and danced I’d left my drink somewhere and started to get really thirsty, I pushed my way through the dancing crowd to where I’d left it. I swigged it down really fast, gosh I needed that, then they were playing my favourite tune, my friends pushed me back onto the dance floor but that’s when my legs started to give way, my head was hurting, my vision started to blur and then nothing, I don’t remember anything else… She fell to the floor, thud, like a sack of potatoes, one minute she was dancing and then gone, like the life had been sucked out of her. I saw him rush over to her, I didn’t recognise him but he seemed to know her name, he picked her up like some kind of super hero and whisked her away, next minute we were just dancing again. We never gave it a second thought, what kind of friend am I. Annotate this
