did you know Firefighters in the Navy are enlisted members of the U. S. Navy. They are between the ages of 17 and 34, with at least a high school diploma. Admission to the Navy requires a physical evaluation, physical aptitude test, and written tests. In order to become a Navy firefighter, successful enrollment in the U. S. Navy and completion of training is required. Boot camp training is a requirement for all who serve in the military, including the Navy. After completing boot camp, Naval officers who are interested in becoming firefighters attend a second round of training, in which they learn the skills of Naval firefighters.
