What’s the vertex of the quadratic function f(x)=(x-8)(x-2)

To find the vertex we need to represent quadratic function in vertex form.
f(x)=(x-8)(x-2)
f(x)=x²-8x-2x+16=x²-10x+16
f(x)=  x²-2*5x+25-25+16= (x-5)² - 9

f(x)= (x-5)² - 9

Vertex is going to be (5, - 9)
