Iam so lost with this. given that f(x)= x+1 and g(x)= x^2 -x, find (f + g)(1) if it exists. my main concern is that one, and what would a function that doesn't exist look like? as far as i've gotten is (x+1)+(x^2-x) = x^2 +2x+1 but then im left second guessing my self with that (1) why is it even there? am i missing something? or am i just overthinking this : 0
