and not really, there's no proper way to graph them. those two equations are exactly the same thing. if you are trying to graph by just plugging in x-values and finding a y-value, then it does not matter.

2(1/2x - 2y) = 2(4)

x - 4y = 8

subtract x from both sides

-4y = -x + 8

divide both sides by   -4
