What’s five and one-half less than 3 times a number ?

The equation is 3n - 5 1/2. 5 1/2 = 5.5

3n - 5.5

n could equal 1 so, 3 x 1 - 5.5 = -2.5

3n - 5 1/2 = -2.5

i believe it is the square root of 122 because when you turn it on it's side, to where the 5 inches is on the bottom, it looks like it is the same length.

if you get paid hourly because if you get a salary you could work all week and only get paid a certain amount no matter how much you work but if you get paid hourly then you get paid for every minute you worked.
