Now she wrote one for 100 dollars

Total Change = - 175  from the total

Part B

Melody essential made a deposit for $5

She then wrote a check for                 ($200)

The change is the difference.               -195

Part C

Merlin's account = total before any transaction  - 175 dollars.

Melody's Account = total before any transactions - 195 dollars.
