Georgia wants to cut down a large tree. she is worried it will fall on her garage which is 30' from the tree. she decided to measure the height of the tree by its shadow. the tree's shadow measured 36 feet. she put a yardstick next to the tree and the yardstick cast a shadow of 4'. if the tree falls exactly in the direction of its shadow, will it hit the garage? why or why not? show your calculations
