1) find the area of the pizza using your formula a = (pi)(r^2) or (3.14)(r x r) r = radius

2) design a box (with 5 or more sides) and assign each side a lenth.

3) find the area of that pizza box composite shape
4) determine if the area of the box is greater than the area of pizza (step 1) --> you don't want to crush the pizza surprise subtract the box - pizza = to ensure it will fit

5) if it is you are done it's not: draw your pizza box lengths longer and recalcuate.
