Iunderstand that you must do a refinement on subnormal series (2), so (1) and (2) have the same number of subgroups. i also understand the concept of how to do chain 3 and 4. however, when i do chain 3 and 4, i do not get {0} less than or equal to {0} to start. i just get one {0} then < 12> and < 18> respectively. what is the set up to the start of the chain to get the first and second {0} that you used?
