logical analysis & evaluation. for each argument given provide a logical analysis & evaluation. if you claim the argument is invalid, then supply a correct counterexample. if you claim the argument is valid, then supply the correct proof
1. if sophie scratches at the tablecloth in the kitchen, then she is hungry. so if she isn’t doing that, she isn’t hungry.
2. the eiffel tower is either in new york or it is in paris. and the eiffel tower is in new york, then it is in the united states. so, since the eiffel tower is not in paris, it follows that the eiffel tower is in the united states.
3. some people don’t believe in ghosts. that’s because some people are hard core materialists and hard core materialists don’t believe in ghosts.
